"Wolverine: Devil of the North?"
"The wolverine is known for its vicious nature and willingness to take on all comers - a kind of unbeatable junkyard dog of the wild. But what is it? Everyone knows the name but few people have ever seen one, wild or not. This one-hour natural history film looks at both sides of the animal: the "devil beast" of reputation, and the real animal as it is being discovered by current research. In that research, two young wolverines grow up in front of the camera, as one scientist gets close to her subjects in order to crack the mysteries of wolverine behavior. It is revealed that, for all its fabled toughness, the wolverine may be made vulnerable by its own character."
